Nerooo(gle) – Εξοικονόμησε ενέργεια στην αναζήτηση σου!

Έχει αποδειχθεί από πολλές μελέτες ότι μια σελίδα με σκούρο χρώμα στην οθόνη καταναλώνει περίπου 25% λιγότερη ενέργεια από μια κενή λευκή σελίδα.

Αυτό συμβαίνει επειδή τα μαύρα pixels είναι σχεδόν OFF, δηλαδή η οθόνη καταναλώνει λιγότερο και εξοικονομούνται ενέργεια και χρήματα. Γίνονται εκατομμύρια αναζητήσεις καθημερινά που σημαίνει ότι αν μια αναζήτηση διαρκεί 10 δευτερόλεπτα έχουμε περίπου 550.000 “ώρες αναζήτησης” κάθε μέρα. Έτσι θα μπορούσαν να εξοικονομούνται 15 watts σε κάθε μόνιτορ υπολογιστή (σύμφωνα με μελέτες) και συνολικά 3.000.000 KWatt/ώρα κάθε χρόνο. Ξεκινήστε λοιπόν την εξοικονόμηση ενέργειας έτσι, αν δε μπορείτε με κάποιο άλλο τρόπο.

Το Νeroo βοηθάει όμως και άμεσα το χρήστη του καθώς κουράζει πολύ λιγότερα τα μάτια από ότι μια λευκή σελίδα αναζήτησης.

7-zip

Το 7-zip είναι ένα δωρεάν πρόγραμμα για την συμπίεση και την αποσυμπίεση φακέλων. Εκτός απο αρχεία zip και rar μπορεί να δημιουργήσει και αρχεία της μορφής .7z , τα οποία καταλαμβάνουν 28 % λιγότερο μέγεθος από τα κλασσικά zip!
